Usually it means phoning around, describing every window again to each one, and waiting to see who turns up. With Sill you describe your windows once, in your own words, and one local installer comes to measure and quote.
Describe your windows once
Write what you need in your own words, with rough sizes or photos if you have them, and we set it out as a clear list for you to check. Your installer still comes to measure properly, but arrives already knowing what you want, so you are not explaining it all again at the door.

Your request goes to one installer who serves your area, and to nobody else.

Sill costs you nothing. The installer who receives your request pays Sill a fee for it.
What Sill does not do
Sill does not make, sell or fit anything, and has no prices of its own. Your installer can usually give you a rough price from your sizes and photos, and a written quote once they have measured. Sill works in Cape Town for now.
